Technique tip: You can make these into little puff pastry cups by placing the puff pastry squares into a muffin tin and filling them with the brie and pear slices. Or if you want one large family style serving size, use the puff pastry to make one large galette with apple and pear slices layered and encased in the dough.
Puff pastry does best if it thaws in the fridge for a few hours but you can thaw it on the counter in about 30 or 40 minutes. If youre in a bigger hurry than that, you can thaw it in the microwave but you need to keep a close eye on it.
Baking mini tarts in a muffin tin
After pressing small squares of puff pastry into the muffin tins, all you have to do is mix the rest of the ingredients together and scoop it into the muffin tin. Make sure you pile the blueberry mixture as high as possible because it will bake down and you will lose quite a bit of volume.
