Last spring, when one of my closest friends was getting remarried, our group of friends planned a Bachelorette party weekend getaway to the beach, and given that I am the chef in the group, coming up with a menu for the weekend was my responsibility. Likewise, given that this weekend would likely include late nights and late mornings, I decided that our breakfasts would be crock pot meals, so the majority of cooking could be done while I sleep.

I made recipe for 2 used beef broth because I had some in the fridge I needed to use. I was leary of the 11 minute cook time as I have a mashed potato recipe calling for 5 minutes + quick release, so I went with that. I'm sure the beef broth gave it a different flavor, but the potatoes were perfect gravy delicious. Can't wait to try with chicken broth. I also split the pork sausage browned it a bit with my CrispLid - fantastic, so quick easy!

As youll see in the video, we are all a little different in how we enjoy our biscuits gravy.  Some folks like to top theirs with an egg or maybe even grated cheese.  I have a bit of a sweet tooth, so I like to drizzle a little raspberry jelly over the top of mine.  Ya might give it a try!

As an adult who likes to cook, I always try to do as Momma Goode does in the kitchen. Now that Im married to a GOODe lookin woman who can CROCK it in the kitchen, Im trying to merge the two styles of cookin together by fixin up some sausage gravy in our Ninja Slow Cooker.

Between endless Christmas shopping, wrapping way too many presents, baking the kids Christmas treats, and all the other bustle of the holiday season, we arent left with a whole lot of time for everything else. You know – like cooking mealsso my kids dont starve!

But you can take some amazing shortcuts that still deliver loads of flavor and save money by shopping at Save-A-Lot.  I used just a few easy ingredients from Save-A-Lot for this easy Biscuits and Gravy Crockpot Breakfast Casserole recipe.

I used this recipe as an idea ONLY. I cannot imagine the grease factor with sausages in a crock pot for hours on end. I used bulk sweet Italian sausage, crumbled into smallish almost walnut sized chunks and browned in a bit of olive oil. I did not use vegies to appease the family's different preferences, I used canned sauce spruced up with a bit of Oregano and Basil. I simmered the drained cooked sausage with the sauce on top of the stove for about 30 minutes. I used 2 pounds of sausage and one jar of sauce, I added a bit more sauce when reheating the leftovers the next night. It was even better leftover. I served it on hard rolls then smothered in cheeseprovolone and mozz.I then placed them in a hot oven450for about 10 minutes to soften the inside, crisp up the outside and melt the cheese. I gave this recipe 3 stars because it was a great idea, just not a very good method in my opinion.

So easy and so delicious! Plus it's a great way to beat the summer heat on nights when it's just too hot to grill. I would definitely brown the sausage first to avoid a bunch of grease in the crock pot. Kai tai buvo padaryta, aš tarnauju jį ant plutos itališkų ritinių su susmulkintu Parmesan ir Romano sūriu - Yum!

Radau, kad patiekalas išeina per saldus su makaronų padažu. Aš taip pat pridėjau šviežių česnakų, pipirų ir italų žolelių krūva. Aš skrudinti bandeles į orkaitėje su provolone sūris ir kai patyrė druska. Patiekė sumuštinius su karšto gardinera pipirais. kaip jie būtų namo Čikagoje. Visada nukentėjo. Aš maniau, kad mano nėščia sesuo ketina valgyti visą dalyką!
